The Israel Museum contains an overview of human history. Join Historian John Paul Thornton as he transports us to the city of Jerusalem, revealing the many ways art reflects community, hope, and celebration.

John Paul Thornton has dedicated his life to understanding and teaching about global art. As a painter himself, his art has taken him to the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, Himalayan refugee settlements of Nepal, the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, and around the world. He has received awards from the National Endowment for the Arts and the United Nations Foundation. For over a decade, his live art history presentations have reached thousands. Please join us!
