Pianist Ian Scarfe invites us to his living room for a live-streamed piano concert where he will explore the evolution of classical piano styles. Scarfe starts our journey with Bach’s elegant and orderly Preludes and Fugues from The Well-Tempered Clavier, progressing through the drama and form of classical-era Mozart and Beethoven, and finally to the heart-rending passion of Brahms and the other late-Romantics.
