Chagall: The Master of Spiritual Art

Our adventures with Jewish artist Marc Chagall follow his life to France, to America, and back to the France he loved so dearly. His vital use of color becomes astounding as his wife and muse Bella fuels his creativity. The impact of the Second World War alters their lives, and Chagall reinvents himself as a designer for the theater and opera in America. We will watch as he turns his talents to new religious imagery in the Post-War World, blending child-like imagination with profound statements on both the Torah and the Hebrew nature of Jesus.
